Rules

• Maximum entries: 40
• Standard quiz format
• Cheating will result in disqualification
• Each team will be given **only one chance per question** to answer.
• Use of **electronic devices, notes, or external help** is strictly prohibited.
• Misconduct, arguing with the quizmaster, or causing disruptions will lead to disqualification.
• In case of any disputes, the **judges' decision will be final and binding**.
• Participants shall be solely responsible for their personal belongings and any liabilities arising during the event. The organizing committee shall not be held accountable for any loss, damage, or unforeseen circumstances affecting participants

Format

• Total Rounds: 3 (Easy, Medium, Hard)
• Question Distribution:
• Easy Round: 10 questions, 30 seconds per question
• Medium Round: 10 questions, 45 seconds per question
• Hard Round: 10 questions, 60 seconds per question
• Team Structure:
• Participants compete in pairs (teams of 2 students).
• Each team has one buzzer to answer questions.
• Buzzer System:
• The first team to press the buzzer within the time limit gets to answer.
• If the answer is correct, they earn points; if wrong, they lose points.

Scoring System

• Easy Round: +1 point per correct answer
• Medium Round: +3 points per correct answer
• Hard Round: +5 points per correct answer
• Wrong Answer Penalty: -1 point deduction

Winning Criteria

• The team with the highest total points after all 3 rounds wins.
• If there is a tie, a sudden-death question round will decide the winner.
