Rules

  • Maximum entries: 30
  • Puzzle-solving competition
  • Cheating will result in disqualification
  • **Mobile phones must be in airplane mode during the event.**
  • **Capturing or photographing the Jigsaw puzzle image is strictly prohibited.**
  • **Any form of cheating or external help will result in immediate disqualification.**
  • Participants must join the event on time to avoid disqualification.
  • Each round is an elimination round, with participants scoring 0 being eliminated.
  • Participants shall be solely responsible for their personal belongings and any liabilities arising during the event. The organizing committee shall not be held accountable for any loss, damage, or unforeseen circumstances affecting participants

Format & Winning Criteria

Format

  • Total Rounds: 4
  • Round 1 - Scrabble: Words must be aligned in a single row or column.
  • Round 2 - Crossword: Players fill in a grid with words matching given clues, connecting them correctly.
  • Round 3 - Word Find: Participants must locate hidden words within a time limit.
  • Final Round - Jigsaw: An image will be displayed for 10 seconds before participants solve the puzzle.

Scoring System

  • Scrabble: Winner earns 2 points.
  • Crossword: Teams of 4, with the winning team earning 4 points (1 per player).
  • Word Find: Teams of 2, with winners receiving 4 points each.
  • Jigsaw: Finalists compete individually for first place.

Winning Criteria

  • The finalist with the highest performance in the Jigsaw round wins.
  • In case of a tie, an additional puzzle challenge will be given.
